Darren Till Signs Multi-Fight Contract with BKFC

Former UFC title challenger Darren Till has officially signed a multi-fight contract with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), putting an end to his previous reluctance to enter the sport. The decision, he explains, came down to a financial offer that was simply "too good to pass."

A Change of Heart

Till had long expressed concerns about facial cuts and damage inherent to bare-knuckle fighting. After transitioning to boxing in Misfits, he has now committed to BKFC, bringing a hardened mindset to his new venture.

"What changed is my bank account got a few zeroes in it."

At 33 years old, Till considers his MMA career likely behind him—he puts the chances of a return at 85% against—though he does not entirely rule out a comeback if he still has the drive to chase a world title.

"It's for the newbies now. The sport evolves. Unless you're in it everyday grinding, it moves on from you."

Training and Mindset

Till has been preparing for his debut by training with a bare-knuckle veteran who has 13 fights in the sport. He remains candid about his concerns but frames them within an aggressive, uncompromising attitude.

"It's a f*** you attitude you've got to have."

His only stated fears are getting hit and cuts, but he insists he will meet those challenges head-on in the ring.

A Long-Term Goal: Mike Perry

While a potential fight against Mike Perry remains a long-term target, Till is open to taking multiple BKFC bouts before that matchup materializes. He views the journey as a building process, willing to work his way up through the promotion.
