"Janice STFU" becomes Drake's 14th No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking Michael Jackson's long-standing record for the most chart-toppers among male solo artists.
A Triple Album Sweep
On May 15, Drake released three albums simultaneously: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour. The trio debuted at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making Drake the first artist in history to hold the top three positions on the U.S. album chart at the same time.
- Iceman led the charge with 463,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. for the week ending May 21 (according to Luminate), marking Drake's 15th No. 1 album. This breaks his tie with Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 among rappers.
- Habibti followed with 114,000 units, and Maid of Honour earned 110,000 units.
Dominance on the Singles Chart
On the weekly Hot 100, Drake occupies nine of the top 10 slots. The only non-Drake song in that range is Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" at No. 5.
With "Janice STFU" hitting No. 1, Drake now has 20 total No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist—surpassing Michael Jackson's record of 13 among male solo acts. (The Beatles hold the all-time record with 20.)
Record-Breaking Chart Presence
This week, Drake posted 42 entries on the Hot 100, surpassing Morgan Wallen's previous record of 37. His total career entries on the chart now exceed 400, solidifying his status as one of the most prolific and successful artists in Billboard history.
