Honor has announced the Watch 6 Plus in China, a smartwatch featuring a round AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits and a 1000 mAh battery.

The device includes health tracking sensors, dual-band GPS, and water resistance.

Display and Design

The watch features a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 464x464 pixels and a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. The case is constructed from stainless steel, with bezel materials varying by color variant (aluminum or stainless steel). The device includes a button and digital crown on the right side. Color options are Shadow Black, Racing Gray, Twilight Brown, and Flying Blue.

Battery and Performance

The 1000 mAh battery offers varying battery life depending on usage mode.

Honor states the device can achieve:

  • Up to 35 days in power-saving mode
  • Up to 17 days in standard Bluetooth mode
  • Up to 42 hours with continuous GPS tracking

Positioning and Sports Features

The Watch 6 Plus supports dual-band GPS (L1+L5) and multiple satellite systems. It offers over 120 sport modes, including detailed tracking for:

  • Badminton: measuring swing count, speed, hitting power, and shot distribution
  • Running: including AI Coach and AI running posture analysis

Health Monitoring

Health tracking capabilities include:

  • Heart rate monitoring
  • Blood pressure risk assessment
  • Sleep apnea risk screening
  • Heart Rate Reduction metric, which Honor states evaluates sudden cardiac arrest risk in real time

Honor notes these features are smartwatch functions and not diagnostic medical devices.

The sensor suite includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, PPG heart-rate sensor, ambient light sensor, barometric pressure sensor, speaker, and microphone.

Software and Connectivity

The watch runs MagicOS and supports YOYO voice assistant and DeepSeek LLM integration. Connectivity features include NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, voice recording, and video watch faces. Durability ratings include 5 ATM water resistance and IP69 dust/water protection.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor Watch 6 Plus launched in China with pricing starting at CNY 1,299 (approximately $191) for the Vitality Edition, with other versions priced up to CNY 1,699.
