Swans Vow to Play Their Own Game Against Cats
Sydney forward Tom Papley has declared his side will not let Geelong's tagging tactics dictate their style of play, ahead of a crucial clash at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.
"You don't want to be dictated to by them - most importantly play our way."
The Cats are expected to deploy a tagger—likely Oisin Mullin or Mark O'Connor—to curb the influence of Sydney's star midfielders, Isaac Heeney or Chad Warner. Mullin has previously been tasked with shutting down elite opponents like Nick Daicos, Harry Sheezel, and Marcus Bontempelli.
Sydney enters the match with strong recent form at the venue, having won four of their last five games at GMHBA Stadium.
Team News
- Geelong is unchanged for the fixture.

Papley on Stewart
Papley also acknowledged the threat posed by Geelong's star defender, Tom Stewart.
"He's a great player... We'll have to see what we do with him."
