Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, has died at the age of 39 after being hospitalized with a severe illness on Thursday.
Busch was admitted to hospital on Thursday with a severe illness. He was scheduled to race in the NASCAR Truck Series on Saturday and the NASCAR Cup Series on Monday.
The younger brother of NASCAR Hall of Famer Kurt Busch, he is survived by his wife Samantha and two children: son Brexton (11) and daughter Lennix (4).
