Xbox has announced its fourth Developer_Direct broadcast, scheduled for January 22. The broadcast will provide updates, new gameplay footage, and insights directly from development teams regarding upcoming titles slated for release in 2026.
The event coincides with Xbox's 25th anniversary year and will feature updates on established franchises alongside a new title from a Japanese studio.

Fable: Playground Games will present an extended look at Fable, one of the titles scheduled for 2026. Developers will showcase aspects of the game set in Albion, including new gameplay. Core themes such as choice, consequence, narrative, action, and British humor will be highlighted.

Forza Horizon 6: Playground Games will also provide a detailed overview of Forza Horizon 6. This open-world racing title is set in Japan, and the segment will feature an initial look at gameplay and new features, detailing the game's depiction of the Japanese landscape.

Beast of Reincarnation: Game Freak will offer an in-depth look at Beast of Reincarnation, an action RPG featuring a single protagonist and their canine companion. This title, previously revealed at last year's Xbox Games Showcase, will include details on the protagonist Emma's plant manipulation abilities and gameplay involving her companion, Koo. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, and the broadcast will include insights into its development.
