Roster Moves

The Dodgers announced several roster moves:

  • Acquired left-handed pitcher Eric Lauer from the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations. Lauer is expected to join the team in San Diego and initially serve in a long-relief role. The Blue Jays had designated Lauer for assignment after he allowed a league-leading 11 home runs in eight appearances. In the 2024 season, Lauer posted a 3.18 ERA in a swingman role and a 3.12 ERA in the postseason.
  • To make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred right-handed pitcher Brusdar Graterol (recovering from right shoulder surgery) to the 60-day injured list.
  • Left-handed pitcher Jack Dreyer was placed on the 15-day injured list with left shoulder discomfort. Imaging showed inflammation.
  • Left-handed pitcher Charlie Barnes was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
  • Right-handed pitchers Paul Gervase and Chayce McDermott were recalled from the minor leagues.
