Tom Brady Makes Runway Debut at Gucci’s Cruise 2027 Show in Times Square
The former NFL quarterback walked the runway for the first time, wearing an all-black leather ensemble chosen by creative director Demna.
New York City, May 2025 — Tom Brady traded the gridiron for the catwalk at Gucci’s Cruise 2027 show, held in New York City’s Times Square. Wearing a full black leather outfit, the seven-time Super Bowl champion made his first-ever runway appearance for the luxury brand, selected personally by Gucci creative director Demna.
The star-studded event featured appearances by Paris Hilton, Emily Ratajkowski, and Cindy Crawford on the runway. In the audience were Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, Anna Wintour, and Lindsay Lohan.
While this marked his debut on a runway, Brady is no stranger to modeling. His prior experience includes spreads in GQ and VMan magazine (2007), as well as multi-year endorsement deals with Under Armour (2010), UGG Australia (2011), and TAG Heuer (2015). In 2022, he co-founded the menswear label BRADY alongside Jens Grede and Dao-Yi Chow, for which he has also served as a model.
Public reaction on social media was mixed. Some commenters compared his appearance to a "plastic robot" or questioned his involvement in multiple post-retirement ventures. Others praised his look, with some noting his walk reflected an athlete's gait.
