Tragedy on the Calder Highway: One Teen Dead, Two Critically Injured After Vehicle Stolen from Mildura
A single-vehicle crash on the Calder Highway in Victoria's north-west has resulted in the death of a 14-year-old male and critical injuries to two other occupants.

The crash occurred shortly before 10:00 am on the Calder Highway near the intersection of Woosang-Yeungroon Road in Woosang, approximately 240 kilometers northwest of Melbourne.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Emergency services declared one individual deceased at the scene.
Victims- A 14-year-old boy from Mildura was pronounced dead at the scene.
- A second 14-year-old boy, also from Mildura, sustained life-threatening injuries.
- An 18-year-old man from Mildura, believed to be the driver, also sustained life-threatening injuries.
The two surviving occupants were trapped in the wreckage and required extrication by emergency personnel. They were subsequently airlifted to hospital for treatment.
InvestigationVictoria Police believe the vehicle was stolen from a Mildura address overnight prior to the crash.
The Calder Highway is expected to be closed in the area for an extended period while authorities conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
