Over the last 10 seasons, dome teams have a 92-105 record (.467 winning percentage) in outdoor road games in December or later. In contrast, they have a 159-142 record (.528 winning percentage) in indoor road or home games during the same period.
Last season, dome teams went 9-12 in such games. The Saints and Texans were each 2-0, while the Colts and Cardinals were each 0-3.
2026 Schedule Outlook
The Cardinals are the only dome team with no outdoor road games in December or later, playing only one road game (at New Orleans) in their final six games.
The Texans have four outdoor road games in December or later, at Pittsburgh, Washington, Philadelphia, and Green Bay.
