The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will play a regular season game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia, marking the league's continued global expansion.
The game is scheduled for Week 1 of the 2025 season, on September 10, 2025, at 8:35 p.m. ET. Broadcast information is still to be determined.
This matchup pits two NFC West rivals against each other, both of whom made the playoffs in the 2024 season. The Rams advanced to the NFC Championship Game last season, while the 49ers lost in the Divisional Round.
The Rams have won four of the last five meetings between the teams.
This game will be the second of the 2025 NFL season, following the Kickoff Game on September 9, 2025.
