American math and reading test scores have declined over the past ten years, according to data released Wednesday by the Educational Opportunity Project at Stanford.
The data allows users to look up changes in test scores for their school district since 2015. This interactive tool provides a granular view of academic performance trends across the nation.
However, some states, including New York, are excluded from the data due to low test participation rates or insufficient public data. Several other districts are also excluded where data is missing.
