Trump Says US Does Not Need Beijing’s Help to End Iran War, Plans Talks with Xi

"I don't think we need any help with Iran. We'll win it one way or the other, peacefully or otherwise."

US President Donald Trump stated on Tuesday that he does not require Beijing's assistance to end the ongoing conflict with Iran, but confirmed he plans to hold extensive talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping during their summit this week.

The ceasefire established over a month ago has yielded no progress toward a final agreement to end hostilities.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu added a key condition on Tuesday, stating that Iran's enriched uranium stockpile must be removed before the war can be considered over.

Trump's remarks to reporters signaled confidence in the US position, asserting victory is achievable "peacefully or otherwise" without external help. The comments come amid stalled diplomatic efforts and continued tensions in the region.
