Chiefs 2026 Schedule Released: Six Primetime Games, Tough Road Ahead
The National Football League released the 2026 regular season schedule for the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. The Chiefs are scheduled for six primetime games, with three at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The team will appear in at least 10 nationally televised games and will play on consecutive Thursday nights in Weeks 12-13.
The schedule includes nine games against 2025 playoff teams. According to the NFL, the combined 2025 win-loss record of the Chiefs' opponents is 155-134-0, resulting in an opponent strength of schedule of .536, the fifth-highest in the league.

Primetime and National Broadcast Details
The Chiefs are scheduled for six confirmed primetime games, with the potential for additional standalone games in Weeks 17 and 18.
- Three of the six primetime games are scheduled at Arrowhead Stadium (Week 1 vs. Broncos, Week 2 vs. Colts, Week 15 vs. Patriots).
- The Week 12 game at the Buffalo Bills is scheduled for Thanksgiving night.
- The Week 13 game at the Los Angeles Rams is scheduled for Thursday Night Football, to be broadcast on Prime Video.
- The Week 17 game at the Los Angeles Chargers could be moved to a Saturday (to be broadcast on NBC/Peacock), contingent on league scheduling decisions.
- The Week 18 game against the Las Vegas Raiders could be moved to a primetime slot if deemed compelling by the league.
The annual game against the Buffalo Bills is reportedly moved from its usual late-afternoon slot to an earlier window.
The Week 16 home game against the San Francisco 49ers is set for 3:25 p.m. Arrowhead Time, as is the Week 14 road game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos is also expected to kick off in the late-afternoon window in Denver.
