"The location is where the album 'Let It Be' was recorded and where the Beatles performed their final public concert on the rooftop."
Apple Corps Ltd, the company founded by the Beatles, announced on Monday the opening of a new seven-floor fan experience at 3 Saville Road in London, the band's early headquarters.
The attraction will provide public access to the rooftop, recording studios, and the Beatles archives.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr issued statements expressing personal memories and support for the project. An opening date has not been announced.
The announcement coincides with ongoing interest in the Beatles, including four biopics in production and the 2023 release of the song "Now and Then," which used artificial intelligence to incorporate recordings by the original Beatles.
