Tragedy in Rosemeadow: Three Dead After Domestic Violence Incident

A 32-year-old man has been charged with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder following a violent incident at a home on Juliet Close, Rosemeadow, in Sydney's southwest.

The Incident

On Sunday morning, emergency services responded to reports of an assault at the property. Inside, they discovered the bodies of a 65-year-old woman and her 25-year-old son. A 64-year-old man was rushed to hospital with serious blunt force injuries and later died. A 30-year-old man sustained serious injuries but survived and was able to call emergency services.

Charges Laid

Jacky Amazing Feng, 32, was arrested at the scene approximately one hour after officers arrived. He has been charged with three counts of murder (DV) and one count of attempted murder (DV).

Court Appearance

Mr Feng appeared via video link at Campbelltown Local Court on Monday. Judge Peter Thompson adjourned the case to July 15 and ordered a psychiatric assessment. Bail was formally refused.

Legal Representation

Lawyer Javid Faiz confirmed he had not yet made a bail application but stated he would do so once all materials from the prosecution are provided.

Police Statement

Superintendent Grant Healey described the scene as "very bloody" and said police suspect multiple weapons were used, including a bladed edge and possibly a hammer.

Government Response

NSW Police Minister Yasmin Catley offered condolences to the family and called for the community to remain vigilant in reporting instances of domestic and family violence.

Background

A family friend described the Feng family as quiet and good. Mr Feng was a top student in high school and had completed a plumbing apprenticeship.
