Organizational Leadership Confirmed
Following the conclusion of their season, the Indianapolis Colts have confirmed that Head Coach Shane Steichen and General Manager Chris Ballard will remain in their positions. Team owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon is scheduled to provide a statement on this decision on Monday.
Personnel Tenures and Team Performance
Steichen, who was hired in 2023, holds a record of 25-26 over three seasons. Ballard has been with the organization since 2017. The Colts have not advanced to the playoffs for five consecutive years, marking seven playoff absences during Ballard's nine years leading the personnel department.
Quarterback Roster Status
Anthony Richardson, a 2023 first-round draft pick, is under contract despite missing most of the season due to a fractured orbital bone. The Colts do not currently hold a first-round pick for the upcoming draft. Addressing the quarterback position is a key focus for the team's performance in the next season.
