Prisoner Exchange
On April 24, Ukraine announced the return of 193 Ukrainian prisoners from Russian captivity. Among those released were servicemen born in the 2000s, wounded defenders, and individuals illegally detained in Chechnya facing fabricated criminal charges.
The youngest released prisoner is 24 years old. Two of the freed prisoners have birthdays on the day of their release.

Strike on Russian Drone Factory
On April 19, Ukrainian forces struck a drone factory in Rostov Oblast using Neptune missiles. The factory was involved in the full cycle of drone production, including design, manufacturing, and testing, according to the General Staff.
Destruction of Uncrewed Surface Vessel
On April 23, Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian uncrewed surface vessel that was heading toward a port in Odesa.
Strike on Novokuybyshevsk Refinery
Satellite imagery indicates severe fire damage to the AVT-11/6 processing unit at the Novokuybyshevsk refinery near Samara, Russia. The strike knocked out up to 80% of the plant's capacity, which processes approximately 6 million tons of oil annually.
Environmental Catastrophe in Tuapse
A strike on the Tuapse refinery triggered widespread oil pollution. Environmentalist Yevgeny Vitishko described it as "the largest environmental catastrophe in the region in recent years," surpassing the 2024 fuel oil spill near Anapa.
Strike on FSB Base in Shchaslyvtseve
Ukrainian drones struck an FSB base in the Kherson region, destroying multiple buildings, an armory, and an ammunition depot. The attack killed 2 personnel and wounded 10.

Torture Chambers at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant

Alleged Deaths of Russian Drone Developers
Alexander Igorevich Anorin claimed in a video that commanders in the 102nd Motorised Rifle Regiment sent a group of UAV developers to their deaths near Poltavka in July 2025. Almost all were killed, including lead developer Junior Lieutenant Alexey Olegovich Glazkov.
