Dancing With the Stars Announces Two New Cast Members for Season 35
Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller have been announced as cast members for the upcoming 35th season of Dancing With the Stars. The announcement was made at Hulu's Get Real House Live event on April 22.
Statements from the New Cast
At the event, co-host Julianne Hough stated to Maura Higgins, "You've been manifesting this."
"I have. I'm a strong believer in manifesting. I had it on my vision board. And now it is happening, which I cannot believe, and I know it's going to be so, so hard, but because I really want to do it, I'm going to put my all into it," Higgins responded.
Higgins noted that her former Traitors co-star and DWTS professional dancer Mark Ballas told her the experience would be "tough." She added, "I've got two left feet, though, so it might not go too well," and stated that the male dancers have "got their work cut out."
Ciara Miller expressed excitement about competing for the Mirrorball Trophy in a video message.
