Players control an unnamed mercenary working for Pinkwater Security, who, along with a twin sibling, are the sole survivors of a mission on the space station Eros. Gameplay involves reporting to a station master, encountering hostile forces from the company Protogen, and fighting to escape to a ship.

A key narrative choice involves deciding whether to convince the station's security forces to fight the hostile boarders. This choice leads to two distinct outcomes:

  • If security fights, they are killed and the station is destroyed.
  • If security stands down, the station and its personnel survive but are held at gunpoint.

About the Developer

Owlcat Games has stated that as of 2022, the company no longer operates in Russia, with development teams now based in Cyprus and Armenia. The company has also publicly addressed past allegations regarding an employee's online comments and an executive's past work, stating that disrespectful behavior is prohibited and that past individual actions do not represent the company.
