Melbourne Injury Updates: Round 7

Ahead of Round 7, Melbourne High Performance Manager Selwyn Griffith and General Manager of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson provided the latest on the club's injury list.

Available for Selection

Changkuoth Jiath has completed full training with the main group, including a weekend session. He will train fully this week and is available for selection.

Patrick Cross has progressed through his recovery, was integrated into a VFL game with the AFL squad, played 50% game time, and is now available for selection.

Progressing Towards Return

Jake Bowey has completed his integration into team training. He is expected to play 50% game time in the VFL this week, with his AFL availability to be assessed afterward.

Jake Melksham continues his recovery from a syndesmosis injury. He is progressing well but remains a couple of weeks away from a return.

Christian Salem is progressing from a foot injury but has not yet returned to running. His availability will be assessed in the coming weeks.

Trent Rivers is making progress in strength and power and is working toward reintegration into team training. He is not available this week.

Under Assessment

Harrison Petty left the field during the third quarter of the match against the Lions. The club is gathering information and will provide an update.

Continuing Rehabilitation

Shane McAdam, Tom Campbell, and Jack Viney all continue working through their respective rehabilitation programs.
