President Trump Expresses Confidence in Future Iran Deal

In an interview with CNBC's "Squawk Box" on Tuesday, President Donald Trump stated that he believes the United States will "end up with a great deal" with Iran. He made this comment while responding to a question about what he expected from a second round of peace negotiations with the country.

President Trump said he does not expect to extend a ceasefire that is due to expire on Wednesday.

"I think they have no choice," Trump said when asked about the negotiations.

He elaborated on this point, adding, "We've taken out their Navy, we've taken out their Air Force, we've taken out their leaders."
