Huawei Unveils New Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro Smartwatches

Huawei has expanded its wearable lineup with the introduction of two new smartwatch models: the Watch Fit 5 and the higher-end Watch Fit 5 Pro.

Both new models share a similar foundational design and a comprehensive set of health and connectivity features.

Design: They feature a rectangular screen and case, complemented by a digital crown and a side button for navigation.
Battery Life: Huawei states the battery can last up to 10 days with light usage or approximately 7 days with typical use.
Health & Fitness: The watches support over 100 sports modes and include a wide array of health tracking:
- Heart-rate and SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring.
- Sleep breathing awareness and a nap recap feature.
- Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) detection.
- Women's health tracking.
Connectivity & Media: They are equipped with NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, and GPS. While music cannot be streamed directly, users can download tracks to the device for offline playback.

Huawei states the battery can last up to 10 days with light usage or approximately 7 days with typical use.

The Pro model distinguishes itself with a more advanced display and additional professional-grade features.

Display: 1.92-inch LTPO screen with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits.
Key Feature: Includes ECG functionality for tracking arterial stiffness.
Diving Support: Offers free-diving support for depths up to 40 meters.

In China: The Watch Fit 5 starts at 1,099 yuan (approximately $161), while the Watch Fit 5 Pro starts at 2,099 yuan (approximately $308).
European Report: A previous report indicated potential European prices of approximately €199 (~$234) for the Watch Fit 5 and €299 (~$351) for the Pro model. Global pricing has not been officially announced.
