iOS 27 to Feature Revamped Siri Interface Integrated with Dynamic Island
According to a report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the upcoming iOS 27 will introduce a significant redesign for Siri, centered around the Dynamic Island on compatible iPhone models.
When activated, the Dynamic Island will reportedly show a "Search or Ask" prompt alongside a glowing cursor. A thin, glowing visual effect will also appear around the edges of the Dynamic Island itself and within a dedicated Siri app's search bar to indicate when Siri is active.
A dedicated Siri app, previously reported by Gurman, is expected to allow for more natural back-and-forth conversations and provide users with a history of their interactions.
Device Compatibility Considerations
While the Dynamic Island is available on iPhone 14 Pro models and newer, some advanced aspects of the new Siri design may be exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro and later devices. This limitation is likely tied to hardware requirements for Apple Intelligence features.

The visual design for this interface is hinted at in Apple's official graphic for WWDC 2026. The company has announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference will be held from June 8 to June 12, 2026.
