Arman Tsarukyan Dominates Urijah Faber in RAF 8 Main Event

The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia hosted the RAF 8 event on Saturday night, headlined by a bout between UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan and MMA veteran Urijah Faber.

Arman Tsarukyan defeated Urijah Faber by technical fall with a score of 13-1 in the evening's main event. A live blog of the fight was provided by MMA Fighting.

Event Background

The main event was not the original plan for the card. It was initially scheduled to be a highly anticipated rematch between former UFC champions Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo.

However, Cejudo sustained an injury and was removed from the card. Following this, Dvalishvili also withdrew from the event. The Tsarukyan vs. Faber bout was subsequently elevated to become the new main event.
