Meteorological Conditions
Meteorologist Angus Hines from the Bureau of Meteorology provided analysis of the conditions.
Hines stated that the low temperatures are due to a combination of high pressure across the south and southeast, clear skies, and light winds.
Hines also noted that the southeastern region can expect clear, sunny days alongside the cooler conditions, while indicating that the forecast temperatures are lower than those recorded through most of the preceding week.
