Adelaide Crows Issue Round Six Injury Update
Ahead of their Round Six clash with St Kilda at Adelaide Oval, the Adelaide Football Club has released a medical update on several players. General Manager of High Performance, Ian McKeown, delivered the status reports covering ankle, back, hamstring, and concussion-related issues.
Player Status at a Glance
Jake Soligo (Midfielder)
"Soli injured his ankle in the third, pleasingly he was able to play out the game. He will be assessed to participate in main training this week, with the goal to do everything to play."
Soligo rolled his ankle during the third quarter against Carlton but completed the match. His availability for main training this week will determine his selection status.
Darcy Fogarty (Forward)
"Fog is starting to turn the corner with his back injury. At this stage we still don't have a definitive timeline, but Darcy is certainly doing everything he can to return."
Fogarty continues to be assessed for a back injury. McKeown noted the player is progressing, but no definitive timeline for his return has been established.
Mark Keane (Defender)
"Keaney has excelled himself with his attitude and attention to detail during his rehab. It is good to see this pay off with a successful return to running this week."
Keane has returned to running for the first time during his rehabilitation. He is estimated to be 5-7 weeks away from playing and will now progress into football-specific conditioning.
Mitch Hinge (Defender)
Hinge has been ruled out for 3-5 weeks with a moderate hamstring strain.
Jordon Butts & Luke Pedlar (Defenders)
Both players will be available for selection once they complete the AFL's mandatory concussion protocols this week.
