Tom Dumont of No Doubt Announces Parkinson's Diagnosis

On Saturday, Tom Dumont, guitarist for the band No Doubt, announced he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. He shared the news in a video posted to his Instagram account.
The Announcement
Dumont stated he first began experiencing symptoms years ago. Following medical consultation and a series of tests, he received a diagnosis of early-onset Parkinson's Disease.
Dumont's Statements
Dumont described his experience, stating, "It's been a struggle. It's a struggle every day." He added that he plans to release another video in the future to provide more details about the condition.
He also offered the positive update regarding his continued ability to play guitar.
Dumont credited other public figures who have been open about their health conditions, stating that such openness helped inspire him to discuss his diagnosis. He said this transparency helps reduce stigma and increase awareness.
