Main Event Result and Context

In the main event, Carlos Ulberg defeated Jiri Prochazka by knockout at 3:45 of the first round. The bout was for the UFC light heavyweight title, which became vacant after former champion Alex Pereira moved up to the heavyweight division. Pereira is scheduled to challenge for the interim heavyweight title at UFC Freedom 250 on June 14.

During the fight, Ulberg appeared to sustain an injury to his right knee. Following the injury, Prochazka targeted Ulberg's legs with kicks.

"I blew out my knee, but I never counted myself out. I knew all I needed was that one shot, and I ended up getting it." — Carlos Ulberg

With the victory, Ulberg's professional mixed martial arts record improves to 14-1, with a UFC record of 10-1. This marks his tenth consecutive win. Prochazka's record is now 32-6-1 in MMA and 6-3 in the UFC. Prochazka has lost three of his last four UFC title fights since June 2022.

"I felt sorry [for] him, and this is one of the biggest lessons in my life. That fight was won, I had it, it was in my hands. I saw his injury, and … I will be back. Life is about that, learn and be better." — Jiri Prochazka
