Trump Slams Right-Wing Commentators Over Iran Stance

President Donald Trump issued criticisms against several right-wing commentators, including Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones, regarding their opposition to his administration and the conflict in Iran. In a Truth Social post published on Thursday, President Trump referred to these individuals as "Third Rate" podcasters, stating they were attempting to gain publicity from the "MAGA" movement.

The Iran Conflict: A Point of Contention

The war involving Iran has emerged as a significant point of contention for his administration, drawing criticism from prominent supporters and advocates of President Trump, such as Carlson, Kelly, Owens, and Jones. These individuals have expressed disapproval of the decision to engage in the conflict with Iran, describing it as a complicated regional crisis with potential global economic impacts.

Calls for 25th Amendment Invocation

Following President Trump's statements earlier in the week concerning Iran, some conservatives, including Jones and Owens, advocated for his removal from office. Jones reportedly questioned how to invoke the 25th Amendment regarding President Trump.

Owens wrote on X, "The 25th amendment needs to be invoked. He is a genocidal lunatic. We are beyond madness."

The 25th Amendment outlines a process by which the Vice President, with support from the majority of the Cabinet and Congress, can assume presidential duties if the President is deemed unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office.

Greene Joins Calls, Faces Trump's Rebuke

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene also called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, stating, "Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness." President Trump had previously criticized Greene concerning her comments on the Epstein files, referring to her as "Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown" in his post.

Megyn Kelly's 'Surrender' Critique

Kelly criticized the conflict and a recent ceasefire agreement, telling Piers Morgan that the deal "sounds very much like surrender on our part."

She added that the conflict "needed to end" and "was folly to begin with."

Carlson Questions Influence and Aid

Carlson has also been critical of the conflict, particularly statements suggesting Israel influenced the United States' decision to initiate the engagement. On Tuesday, Carlson commented on President Trump’s statements concerning Iran, urging those in contact with the President to resist such directives.

He later suggested that Israel should manage its own military and financial responsibilities without relying on external support, stating, "There’s no country in the world that acts with total impunity because it knows a much larger country will backstop it no matter what it does."

Trump's Personal Attacks and 'LOSERS' Label

In his Thursday post, President Trump criticized Carlson for not graduating from college and described him as a "broken man" needing a "good psychiatrist." He also criticized Kelly’s questioning during the 2016 election and made remarks about Owens’ appearance. President Trump characterized Jones as someone who "says some of the dumbest things," referencing conspiracy theories.

He concluded his critique of these individuals by labeling them "LOSERS."

President Trump affirmed his priorities, stating, "I no longer care about that stuff, I only care about doing right for our Country."
