Olivia Munn Recalls On-Set Incidents

Actress Olivia Munn recently discussed a past on-set incident during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show.” She revealed that a male co-star reportedly refused to be saved by her character in a scene.

The scene, featuring Munn's character as a CIA agent or cop, required her to save the co-star's character from an antagonist.

Co-star Objects to On-Screen Rescue

According to Munn, the co-star stopped production for approximately 45 minutes. He expressed objections to his character being saved by hers.

A resolution was reached when Munn suggested a modification where their characters would simply switch positions, allowing her character to engage the threat without explicitly saving him.

This adjustment allowed the scene to proceed without explicitly portraying Munn's character saving the co-star's.

Director Allegedly Undermined Film Role

Munn also recalled a previous incident, which she mentioned on Dax Shepherd’s “Armchair Expert” podcast. She stated that a director she had worked with on HBO’s “The Newsroom” allegedly attempted to undermine her chances of securing a film role.
