University of Florida Shines in Latest Graduate School Rankings

The University of Florida (UF) has demonstrated strong performance in graduate education, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings. Numerous colleges and programs received national recognition, highlighting the university's strong academic standing.

College Rankings

  • The College of Education achieved its highest position to date, rising to No. 2 nationally. Six specialty programs within the college also ranked in the top 20.

    The College of Education rose to No. 2 nationally, its highest position to date.

  • The College of Pharmacy received a No. 4 ranking.
  • The College of Veterinary Medicine received a No. 6 ranking.
  • The College of Medicine was recognized as a top medical school, earning a Tier 1 designation for research.
  • Other nationally recognized colleges include the Warrington College of Business, Levin College of Law, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, College of Public Health and Health Professions, and Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.

UF Interim Provost Joe Glover emphasized the significance of these achievements.

"These rankings reflect the University of Florida’s continued momentum as we strengthen graduate education across disciplines."
He further added that the colleges are advancing research, preparing future leaders, and delivering impactful contributions.

This success in graduate education builds on UF's previous ranking as No. 7 among public universities by U.S. News & World Report. The university reported $1.33 billion in research expenditures last year, demonstrating a strong commitment to scholarly advancement. Additionally, UF's online bachelor’s degree program holds the No. 1 national ranking in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings, reinforcing its leadership in various educational formats.
