A 56-year-old police sergeant was discovered deceased at a home in Bateau Bay on the NSW Central Coast at approximately 6 AM on Monday.
Initial inquiries conducted by NSW Police indicate that the death is not considered suspicious.
Investigation Details
A report regarding the incident will be prepared for the Coroner.
A critical incident investigation is currently underway. This investigation will be subject to review by the Professional Standards Command and will be overseen by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
