Western Australia Police received a report regarding an unresponsive woman at a residence in Laverton around 11:00 PM on Wednesday. Laverton is located approximately 950 kilometers from Perth.

The woman was subsequently transported to Laverton Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased upon arrival.

Homicide Squad detectives have confirmed that the 48-year-old accused and the 24-year-old deceased individuals were known to each other.
Following an investigation, the 48-year-old woman was charged with one count of murder. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today.
