During Delhi's batting innings, the team experienced an early struggle, falling to 26-4. Mohammed Shami dismissed KL Rahul for a duck on the first ball of Delhi's chase. Prince Yadav subsequently removed Pathum Nissanka (1) and Axar Patel (0) in one over, deepening Delhi's early woes.
However, Sameer Rizvi, playing as an impact substitute, scored an unbeaten 70 runs, while Tristan Stubbs contributed 39 runs. Their unbroken partnership of 119 runs was central to securing the win. Rizvi's 47-ball innings included five fours and four sixes; he reached his fifty with a four and hit the winning six.
Lucknow's Innings and Bowling Effort
Lucknow's innings saw Rishabh Pant run out for seven. Mitchell Marsh scored 35 runs. Ngidi dismissed Nicholas Pooran for eight. Abdul Samad contributed 36 runs off 25 balls to Lucknow's total, but the team's innings concluded in 18.4 overs.
For the Delhi Capitals, Lungi Ngidi claimed three wickets, as did left-arm quick T Natarajan, restricting the Super Giants to a total of 141 runs.
