Myst and Riven Remakes

Cyan Worlds has released remakes of the classic puzzle adventure games Myst and Riven on PS5 and PS VR2.

  • The Myst remake, previously available on Meta Quest (2020), PC/Mac/Xbox (2021), and iOS (2022), is priced at $35. PlayStation Plus members receive a 20% discount until May 26.
  • The Riven remake debuts on PS5, PS VR2, Xbox Series X/S, and the Microsoft Store (PC) at $35 with a limited-time discount.

PS5 Pro versions of both games feature improved view distance, foliage, textures, post-processing, and shading.

Bubsy 4D

Fabraz and Atari have released Bubsy 4D, the first Bubsy game since 2019 and the first 3D entry in 30 years. The platformer follows Bubsy as he recovers a Golden Fleece from technologically enhanced sheep. New abilities include rolling into a ball form for faster movement.

Available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 at $20, with a 10% launch discount on GOG.

Thick as Thieves

OtherSide Entertainment has released Thick as Thieves on Steam for $5. Originally planned as a competitive multiplayer heist game, development pivoted to focus on solo and two-player co-op after finding those modes more enjoyable.

The initial release includes two thieves, two maps, 16 contracts, and six pieces of gear, with a campaign lasting approximately four hours. A PvPvE mode may be added later.

Phonopolis

Amanita Design has released Phonopolis, a puzzle adventure set in a hand-painted cardboard 3D world animated at 12fps to mimic stop-motion. Players control Felix, a resident immune to the dystopian city's loudspeaker commands, who rebels by manipulating loudspeakers to solve puzzles.

Available on Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store at $25 (10% discount until June 3).
