Apple Appoints Lilian Rincon as VP of AI Product Marketing

Apple announced on Friday, March 27, that it has hired Lilian Rincon as the vice president of product marketing for artificial intelligence.

Rincon will report to Greg Joswiak, Apple's marketing chief.

Rincon previously worked at Google for nearly a decade, where she oversaw its shopping and assistant products.

Strategic Timing with Siri Update

This appointment comes as Apple is preparing to release an updated version of its virtual assistant, Siri, this year. The revised Siri is being rebuilt with technology from Alphabet's Gemini AI model.
