Aqara has launched the Camera Hub G350, described as the world's first Matter-certified camera, in Australia.
The G350 is an indoor security camera that also functions as a Zigbee hub, Matter controller, and Matter bridge. It is designed to enable interoperability with smart home devices from various brands.
The device features a dual-lens camera array: a 4K wide-angle lens and a 2.5K telephoto zoom lens, with pan-tilt capability for 360-degree coverage. Local AI processing identifies people and pets, allowing the camera to zoom and track them.
The camera is compatible with Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, and Apple Home. Storage options include microSD cards, NAS backup, and cloud storage via Aqara's paid HomeGuardian service.
The Aqara Camera Hub G350 is available for pre-order at $269 AUD, with shipments expected in May.
