One UI 8.5 Beta Rolls Out for Galaxy Z Fold 7

The first One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been released in select regions.

Regional Availability and Details

The update is now live in Korea and India. For users in Korea, the update carries firmware version F966NKSU8ZZC5 and is approximately 4.2GB. In India, the firmware version is F966BXXU8ZZC5.

Both regional updates include the February 2026 security patch.

What's New in One UI 8.5 Beta

This beta is based on Android 16 QPR2. It introduces significant enhancements to the user experience.

Users can expect a revamped user interface, new features, and enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities.

How to Join the Beta Program

Users with a Galaxy Z Fold 7 in eligible countries can enroll in the One UI 8.5 Beta Program.

Enrollment is managed through the Samsung Members app. After registration, the update can be accessed via Settings > Software update > Download and install.
