A shooting at a residence in Canley Heights, Sydney, on Tuesday night resulted in the death of one man and injuries to four others.

According to police, the incident is believed to have occurred at a home in Canley Heights. All five injured men transported themselves to two separate hospitals.

8:30 PM (approx.): Two men in their 20s arrived at Liverpool Hospital with multiple wounds. One man (reported ages differ: 28 years old per one source) died shortly after receiving treatment. The other (reported as 32 years old per one source) is in stable condition.

8:40 PM (approx.): Two men arrived at Fairfield Hospital in critical condition. One source reports these men are aged 22 and 23, one of whom sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. They were later transferred to other hospitals.

9:50 PM: A 19-year-old man arrived at Liverpool Hospital in stable condition.
Investigation
Police established a crime scene at a home in Canley Heights, which is believed to be the location where all five men were injured. Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command, with assistance from the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad, are investigating. The motive for the shooting is not yet known.
