Connor McGovern Anticipates Departure from Buffalo Bills
Connor McGovern, an offensive lineman who has spent the past three seasons with the Buffalo Bills, expects to play for a different team in 2026. He had expressed a desire to remain with the Bills, but noted a significant lack of communication from the team since their playoff loss to the Broncos.
McGovern stated to TheAthletic.com's Tim Graham that the Bills "haven’t contacted me once," leading him to believe that his tenure with the team is concluding.
Free Agency Outlook
McGovern is ranked 30th on Pro Football Talk's list of this year's top free agents. He played guard for Buffalo in 2023 before transitioning to center for the subsequent two seasons. Tyler Linderbaum is considered the top center entering free agency next week, and McGovern is expected to attract interest from teams not signing Linderbaum.
