Contenders Emerge for Congressional Seat

Several individuals are competing for a congressional seat. Among the contenders are Carteret County Sheriff Asa Buck, State Senator Bobby Hanig, and Laurie Buckhout.

Laurie Buckhout, a retired Army colonel, previously lost to incumbent Democratic Representative Don Davis in 2024.
