FC Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has been used sparingly by coach Hansi Flick since his return from a mental health break earlier in the season.
Araujo's only start occurred in the Copa del Rey match against Albacete, with other appearances being as a substitute. His integration back into the squad has been cautious, primarily featuring off the bench.
When questioned about Araujo's potential inclusion in the starting lineup for the upcoming match against Atletico, Hansi Flick stated:
"Yes, obviously. We have a team and they’re doing very well defensively. Ronald, too. We’ll see if he starts; I can’t say yet because I haven’t decided on the starting eleven. I know their strengths, but I have to think about it."
