Sharks Announce 22-Man Squad for Round 1 Titans Clash

Sharks coach Craig Fitzgibbon has announced the 22-man squad for Saturday's Round 1 clash against the Titans at Ocean Protect Stadium.

Leadership Update

Hooker Blayke Brailey, recently named co-captain, will lead the team as sole captain while Cameron McInnes completes recovery from an ACL injury.

Second Row & Injury Update

Billy Burns and Briton Nikora are scheduled to start in the second row. Teig Wilton is in the final stages of rehabilitation from off-season shoulder surgery.

Interchange Bench

The interchange list includes Sifa Talakai, Toby Rudolf, Oregon Kaufusi, Braden Uele, Hohepa Puru, and Chris Vea'ila. Teams are allowed to carry six players on the bench, but only four may enter the game.

Final Roster Confirmation

Two players will be removed from the squad 24 hours before the match, with the final 19-player roster confirmed 90 minutes prior to kick-off.

The match is scheduled for a 5:30 PM kick-off and will be broadcast on Foxtel and Kayo.
