Ho Bee Land Acquires Major Queensland Site Near Infinity Planet Theme Park

Singapore-based Ho Bee Land Ltd has acquired a 181-hectare site in Queensland’s Moreton Bay region for A$318 million. This acquisition supports the development of a master-planned community and is strategically located just 1 kilometer from the proposed Infinity Planet theme park precinct.

The significant investment positions Ho Bee Land Ltd at the forefront of a burgeoning development landscape in Queensland, adjacent to a future major entertainment hub.

Ho Bee Land Ltd's Elimbah Development Plans

Ho Bee Land Ltd, under the control of Singaporean billionaire Chua Thian Poh, plans to construct 1400 homes on the newly acquired Elimbah site. The site is situated approximately one hour north of Brisbane.

The comprehensive master-planned community will also integrate essential amenities, including:

  • Schools
  • Expansive green spaces
  • Approximately 25 hectares of dedicated commercial spaces

This project is indicative of a broader increase in development interest across Queensland's south-east. This heightened activity is largely in anticipation of Brisbane's hosting of the 2032 Olympic Games.

Infinity Planet Precinct: A$2.6 Billion Integrated Entertainment City

The proposed Infinity Planet theme park precinct, an ambitious A$2.6 billion development by RHC City, is slated for a 68-hectare site located just next to Ho Bee Land's acquisition. Developers are aiming for the park to be fully operational before the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.

Key features planned for the Infinity Planet precinct highlight its scope and potential impact:

  • A theme park complete with roller coasters and other attractions, projected to attract 1.2 million visitors annually.
  • A substantial 700-room hotel to accommodate tourists and visitors.
  • A unique cultural mall featuring 50 cultural pavilions, each representing different countries.
  • A large 9000-seat events venue for concerts, shows, and major gatherings.
  • A 136,000 square meter retail and dining precinct, expected to draw an additional 1.8 million visitors annually.
  • Provision for approximately 10,000 car spaces, alongside strong encouragement for public transport use.
  • Future plans also include an accompanying business and technology park.

RHC City Chief Executive Ramin Ahmadi emphasized that Infinity Planet is designed to be Australia’s largest purpose-built integrated entertainment city.

The construction phase of the precinct is anticipated to generate over 1000 jobs. Once fully operational, the Infinity Planet precinct is expected to create more than 4600 permanent jobs.
