Clinton Denies Sending Emails to Ghislaine Maxwell, Addresses WJC Account

Former President Bill Clinton has publicly denied ever sending emails to Ghislaine Maxwell. He specifically stated he "never sent one email" from the WJC email address, an account his former top aide, Doug Band, reportedly indicated he shared with Clinton.

Clinton elaborated on his limited history with electronic communication, noting that he did not own a phone approximately nine months after leaving office. He also recalled sending only two emails in his entire life.

The WJC Email Account in Question

Despite Clinton's denial, the WJC email address reportedly appears hundreds of times in files released by the US Justice Department. These documents show Band frequently used this account to correspond with Maxwell.

During a congressional reading of an email involving the WJC address, Clinton reacted to certain comments by chuckling and stating, "unbelievable."

Knowledge of Band's Relationship with Maxwell

Clinton maintained that he was unaware of any "personal relationship" between Band and Maxwell. He stated that, to his knowledge, Band's interactions with Maxwell were solely in a "business capacity."
