Opposition Reacts to Regional Strikes and Government Stance

Shadow foreign secretary Priti Patel expressed support for actions taken by the United States and Israel concerning Iran. However, Patel questioned Prime Minister Keir Starmer's proactivity prior to the US and Israeli strikes and inquired why UK military bases in the region were not utilized.

Green Party leader Zack Polanski called on Prime Minister Starmer to condemn the US-Israeli strikes on Iran. Polanski also accused Keir Starmer of being "singularly incapable of standing up to Donald Trump."
