DiCaprio to Miss 32nd Annual Actor Awards Amid Filming Schedule

Leonardo DiCaprio will not attend the 32nd annual Actor Awards due to scheduling conflicts.

He is currently filming the upcoming Martin Scorsese film, What Happens at Night, in Europe alongside Jennifer Lawrence.

Filming New Scorsese Project

The film is an adaptation of a ghost novel. This project marks the seventh collaboration between DiCaprio and Scorsese and the first on-screen collaboration for Lawrence with Scorsese as director.

Two Nominations at 2026 Actor Awards

DiCaprio is nominated for two awards at the 2026 Actor Awards for his role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another. These nominations include outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role and outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture.

His fellow nominees for best male actor include Timothée Chalamet, Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan, and Jesse Plemons. One Battle After Another is competing against Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, and Sinners for best cast performance. DiCaprio previously won an Actor Award in 2016 for The Revenant.

Additionally, DiCaprio is nominated for an Oscar for best actor this year, having won in the same category in 2016 for The Revenant.

Actor Awards Ceremony Details

The Actor Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Netflix on Sunday from 8-10 p.m. ET / 5-7 p.m. PT. Kristen Bell will host the event at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
