Man Dies After Being Washed Away in Flooded Creek

A man has died after being reportedly washed away while attempting to cross a flooded creek in South Australia's north.

Emergency services were called to RM Williams Way, approximately 30km north of Orroroo in the Southern Flinders Ranges, at around 9:30 AM following reports of a motorcyclist being washed away.

Following a search, the 47-year-old male rider was located deceased. Police have stated that there are no suspicious circumstances related to the death.

A report concerning the incident will be prepared for the coroner.
