Stardew Valley Reveals Two New Marriage Candidates for 1.7 Update

For the ten-year anniversary of the farming simulator Stardew Valley, developer Eric Barone revealed two new marriage candidates for the upcoming 1.7 update.

Introducing Clint and Sandy

One of the new candidates is Clint, the blacksmith character from Pelican Town. The other is Sandy, a shopkeeper located in the desert area of the game.

Community Feedback and Character Development

Player discussions and feedback have previously indicated a desire for Sandy to be a romantic option. Regarding Clint's character, player interactions within the game, such as a relationship event at three hearts, involve dialogue addressing his treatment of women.

It is anticipated that the upcoming update may introduce storylines designed to develop Clint's character further.
